Are you licensed and insured in Florida?
Yes. LD Construction & Remodeling is Florida-licensed and fully insured. Ask and we'll send current certificates before you sign anything.
How much do you ask for up front?
Your payment schedule is written into the contract before work starts, tied to progress you can see. No vague deposits, no surprises.
Who pulls the permits?
We do. Kitchens, baths, decks and whole-home projects in Duval, St. Johns and Clay counties are permitted and inspected.
Do you use subcontractors?
Our core work is done by our own in-house crews. When a licensed specialty trade is needed, it's one we've worked with before, scheduled and supervised by your project lead.
How long will my project take?
Your quote comes with a start date and a schedule, and you get a progress update every week. We tell you the date before we start, not after.
What if something unexpected turns up behind a wall?
We stop, show you, and price the fix in writing before touching it. You decide.
Do you take small jobs?
Yes. Flooring for one room, a repaint, a tub-to-shower conversion. Same crew, same written quote.
What happens at the final walkthrough?
We walk the finished space with you room by room, note anything that needs a touch-up, fix it, and you sign off. Only then is the job done.
